Wall-hanging herb pots, 1930s.
Two decorative wall-hanging herb pots in moulded ceramic from the 1930s, executed in Kähler’s characteristic organic forms. One features a warm orange-yellow uranium-type glaze, the other a brown-green glaze with textured variation. Both with small curled foot details and hanging hole.

Condition: Very good condition with light signs of wear.
Bio:
During the 1930s, Kähler produced a variety of functional yet sculpturally shaped household ceramics, including the iconic wall-mounted herb pots. Their combination of artistic form and experimental glazes makes them highly collectible examples of early Danish art pottery today.
