Rare sauce boat, early 1900s.
Rare early version of the sauce boat in “Blue Fluted Plain,” featuring a separate underplate, elegantly curved handle, and hand-painted cobalt-blue decoration on a fluted body. A desirable and collectible piece from the early 20th century.

Origin: Denmark, Royal Copenhagen.
Material: Porcelain.
Dimensions: H. 14 cm, L. 22 cm.
Period: 1898-1923.
Condition: Very good condition with light signs of wear.

Bio:
“Blue Fluted Plain” was introduced in 1775 and remains Royal Copenhagen’s most iconic and enduring porcelain pattern. Early examples like this one are especially prized for their craftsmanship, detailed brushwork, and distinctive character.
