Ceramic vase, 1970s.
Tall cylindrical retro vase in purple glaze with hand-painted vertical striping in dark and light tones. A classic 1970s aesthetic with graphic decoration and an elegant, slender profile. The base is signed, though the signature is illegible.

Origin: Sweden, Gabriel.
Material: Ceramic.

Condition: Very good condition with light signs of wear.

Bio:
Gabriel Keramik, founded in the late 19th century in Timmernabben, is known for its colourful glazes and decorative stoneware. During the 1960s and 70s, the workshop produced a range of modern, youthful series characterized by bold colours, hand-painted patterns, and a strong graphic identity. These pieces are now sought after by collectors of Scandinavian retro ceramics.
