Large round art deco dish with a wide rim decorated with geometric inlaid bands. The warm green-brown patina and clean lines are typical of Just Andersen’s design language and his mastery of proprietary metal alloys.

Bio:
Just Andersen (1884–1943) was a leading figure in Danish art deco metal design. He developed his own alloys, including Disko and LB, which allowed for rich patination and a sculptural surface quality. His works range from decorative to functional pieces, all marked by a refined balance of simplicity, elegance and material innovation.
