Two elegant stoneware miniature vases with soft, organic silhouettes and subtle matte glazes. One features a greenish glaze with a pink tone at the rim, the other displays pale yellow nuances with refined surface variation – both characteristic of Stålhane’s experimental glaze work.
Origin: Sweden.
Material: Stoneware.
Dimensions: H. 3.5–5 cm, D. 4 cm.
Period: Mid 20th century.
Condition: Excellent condition with minor signs of wear.
Bio:
Carl-Harry Stålhane (1920–1990) was one of Rörstrand’s most significant designers and a key figure in Swedish modernist ceramics. His work combined refined forms with sophisticated glaze experimentation, often produced in small batches or as unique pieces, making his miniature vases highly collectible today.
