Bio:
Svend Hammershøi was a leading figure in Danish ceramic art in the first half of the 20th century and maintained a long-standing collaboration with Kähler. His work is defined by strict geometry, calm proportions, and experimental glazes, often in muted, earthy tones. Today, his ceramics from the 1920s and 1930s are regarded as key works in the development of modern Danish ceramics.
