Bio:
Yetty Sutjihati Mikkelsen was born in 1943 in Java, Indonesia. Her artistic practice is rooted in a modernist sculptural language, characterised by organic and architectural forms combined with a strong sensitivity to material and surface. During the 1980s she worked extensively in bronze, often producing small, numbered editions that enhance the exclusivity and collectability of her works.
