Rare porcelain vase with rich relief modelling and hand-painted polychrome floral and landscape decoration. Shaped foot and scalloped rim. A fine example of Meissen’s decorative porcelain production from the early 19th century.

Condition: Cancelled quality, marked with two incised lines. In fine antique condition with light, age-related wear.

Bio:
Founded in 1710, Meissen is recognised as Europe’s first porcelain manufactory. During the early 19th century, the factory continued its refined Rococo and late Baroque traditions, producing richly modelled forms with detailed hand-painted decoration.
