Relief plaque in white biscuit porcelain with a stylised nature motif depicting trees, mounted in a rectangular wooden frame with an oval opening. The matte surface enhances the fine modelling of the relief, giving the piece a classical sculptural character.

Origin: Germany.
Material: Biscuit porcelain and wood.
Dimensions: H. 18 cm, W. 15 cm, D. 3 cm.
Period: c. 1970s.
Condition: Excellent condition with light, age-related wear.

Meissen, founded in 1710, is Europe’s oldest porcelain manufactory and is renowned for its technical mastery and artistic quality. Biscuit porcelain has been part of Meissen’s production since the 18th century and is especially valued for its soft, marble-like surface, which is ideally suited to reliefs and sculptural decoration.
