Bio:
During the 1930s, Kähler experienced a creative peak, interpreting the Art Deco style through both form and surface decoration. The period is defined by monumental shapes, rich glazes and hand-painted ornamentation, often inspired by organic and floral themes. Large floor vases such as this were produced in limited numbers and are today considered among the most desirable works from Kähler’s interwar production.
