Lisa Larson for Gustavsberg, turtle figurine.
Stylised stoneware turtle with a compact, almost architectural body and short, sturdy legs. Finished with a warm orange-brown glaze to the body and a contrasting shell decorated with graphic floral and dot motifs in black and off-white. A characteristic example of Lisa Larson’s figurative design from the 1970s, combining humour, simplicity, and strong decorative presence.

Bio:
Lisa Larson was a key figure in Swedish ceramic design and worked for Gustavsberg for several decades. Pieces from the 1960s and 1970s are today among her most sought-after and collectible works.
