Bio:
During the 1920s, Royal Copenhagen placed strong emphasis on hand-painted underglaze decoration, often drawing inspiration from botanical subjects. The period is characterised by a refined balance between traditional craftsmanship and a more simplified, modern aesthetic that would come to define the factory’s artistic production in the interwar years.
