Bio:
Clarice Cliff’s work for Royal Doulton represents some of the most distinctive achievements in British Art Deco ceramics. Her designs are defined by bold colour combinations, strong shapes and a modern, graphic expression that clearly set them apart from more traditional tableware of the time. The “Syren” series is a strong example of this aesthetic and is today highly sought after by collectors.
