Bio:
Blue Fluted Plain is Royal Copenhagen’s oldest pattern, first introduced in 1775. Inspired by Chinese porcelain, the decoration is executed in freehand-painted cobalt blue underglaze, giving each piece subtle individual variation. Plates produced around the 1910s represent a continuation of traditional forms made for everyday use, distinguished by refined craftsmanship and enduring quality.
