Bio:
Blue Fluted Plain is Royal Copenhagen’s oldest and most iconic pattern, first introduced in 1775. Inspired by Chinese porcelain, the decoration is executed in freehand-painted cobalt blue underglaze, giving each piece subtle individual variation. Pieces produced in the 1930s reflect a continuation of the traditional forms with exceptional technical skill and artistic quality, and are today highly regarded by collectors of classic Danish porcelain.
