Set of five faience bowls with a pastel printed decoration featuring a central figure scene, framed by an ornate gilt leaf-scroll border around the rim.
Origin: England.
Material: Faience.

Condition: Very good condition with minor signs of wear.
Bio:
English faience from the interwar period was widely produced as decorative yet accessible tableware, often using printed imagery and elaborate borders to create an elegant look. During the 1930s, romantic figure scenes and gilt accents were popular design elements, lending everyday services a more festive, display-worthy character.
