Biography :
Arne Jacobsen (1902–1971) was a Danish architect and designer and one of the leading figures of modernism in Denmark. Educated at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen, he became known for his holistic approach, designing not only buildings but also interiors, furniture, and objects down to the smallest detail.
Among his most iconic works are the SAS Royal Hotel in Copenhagen and furniture classics such as the Egg and the Swan chairs. His design language is defined by clean lines, functionalism, and timeless elegance — qualities that are also reflected in the minimalist AJ cutlery designed for Georg Jensen.
