Lötz, Art Nouveau vase with pewter mount.
Art Nouveau vase in iridescent art glass with a vivid green ground colour and softly rounded, organic form. Low, broad body with a gently constricted neck, finished with a decorative pewter mount in a stylised, nature-inspired motif. The surface displays subtle colour play with bluish tones towards the base, typical of the period.

Origin: Bohemia (now Czech Republic).
Made by: Lötz.
Material: Iridescent art glass with pewter mount.
Dimensions: H. 11 cm, D. 11 cm.
Period: Early 20th century.
Condition: Very good condition with light age-related wear.
Provenance: Private German collection.

Bio:
Johann Lötz Witwe was among the most important producers of Art Nouveau art glass around 1900. The workshop is particularly renowned for sophisticated iridescent finishes and organic forms, often combined with decorative pewter or silver mounts. This fusion of artistic glass and metalwork reflects the Art Nouveau ideal of unity between form, material, and craftsmanship.
