Bio:
The Meissen porcelain manufactory was founded in 1710 in Saxony and is regarded as the first true porcelain factory in Europe. Established under the patronage of Augustus the Strong, Meissen quickly gained international recognition for its technical mastery and artistic excellence. During the interwar period, the factory continued its tradition of classic forms and naturalistic floral decoration, executed by highly trained porcelain painters working to the manufactory’s long-established standards.
