Bio:
Yngve Blixt (1920–1981) was a Swedish ceramicist based in Höganäs, recognised for his stoneware characterised by confident forms and exploratory glaze work. After working within the Höganäs ceramic tradition, he established his own studio in 1949, producing both functional ceramics and more individual pieces in limited series. His works from the 1950s and 60s reflect a strong command of wheel-thrown technique, decorative surface rhythms, and a clear connection to the Scandinavian stoneware tradition.
