Verso description: In memory of my visit to "Borupgaard" on January 21, 1931. Signed Peter Lassen.
Peter Lassen (1866 - 1938) was a farmer and politician from the "Angel" peninsula.
Borupgaard at Snekkersten is today a hotel under KS Snekkersten Hotel and Spa under the Comwell group.
Gustav Adolph Heagemann owned Brupgaard from 1899 - 1916. Hagemann was a manufacturer and chemist and later became director of the Danish Sugar Factories. Borupgaard was owned from 1916 to 1954 by his son-in-law, cand. polyt Karl Albert Hasselbalch.
Peter Lassen (1866 - 1938) played a major role in the Dannevirke Movement.
