Bio:
Gabriel Keramik was founded in 1925 in Timmernabben, Småland, by Gabriel Burmeister. The factory became one of Sweden’s most significant producers of art and decorative ceramics during the 20th century. In the 1940s, production was characterised by hand-decorated surfaces, well-defined forms, and stylised natural motifs reflecting contemporary Swedish decorative traditions. Gabriel Keramik remained in operation until 1985 and is today highly regarded among collectors.
