Ninnie Forsgren for Bromma Keramik, pitcher.
Organically shaped pitcher in thrown stoneware with a coarse, rustic surface in reddish-brown tones and a decorative relief with a circular motif in blue and green glazes. Model 193.

Origin: Sweden.
Material: Stoneware.
Dimensions: H. 16 cm, D. 13 cm.
Period: 1970s.
Condition: Excellent condition with minor signs of wear.

Bio:
Ninnie Forsgren (b. 1937) is an important figure in 20th-century Swedish ceramics.
She was employed by Bromma Keramik in Stockholm in 1962 and acquired the workshop the following year.
She later worked under the name Ateljé Ninnie Keramik.
She is especially known for her hand-decorated wall plaques and functional stoneware objects.
Forsgren left the workshop in 1978 to work independently as a ceramic artist.
