Round porcelain salad plates decorated with the classic Blue Onion pattern. Some first factory quality, others cancelled with one incised line. Marked to the base with the Meissen crossed swords.

Bio:
Meissen Porcelain was founded in 1710 and is Europe’s oldest porcelain manufactory. It was the first in Europe to produce true hard-paste porcelain and early on established standards of quality and craftsmanship. The Blue Onion pattern, introduced in the 18th century, remains one of Meissen’s most iconic and collectible decorations.
