Round porcelain plates decorated with the classic Blue Onion pattern. First factory quality, marked to the base with the Meissen crossed swords.

Origin: Germany.
Material: Porcelain.
Dimensions: D. 18 cm.
Period: Mid 20th century.
Condition: Excellent condition with minor signs of wear.

Bio:
Meissen Porcelain was founded in 1710 and is Europe’s oldest porcelain manufactory. It was the first in Europe to produce true hard-paste porcelain and early on established standards of quality and craftsmanship. The Blue Onion pattern, introduced in the 18th century, remains one of Meissen’s most iconic and collectible decorations.
