Bio:
Mason’s traces back to the potter Charles James Mason (1791–1856), who founded the company in Staffordshire in the early 19th century. The factory became particularly known for its durable ironstone wares and later for decorative faience with transferware decoration. During the first half of the 20th century Mason’s produced a wide range of tableware and household items with classic English motifs. Mason’s is today regarded as one of the key names in English ceramics.
