Bio:
Stig Lindberg (1916–1982) was one of Sweden’s most influential designers of the 20th century and spent most of his career working for Gustavsberg. Educated at Konstfack in Stockholm, he became known for his distinctive decorations, graphic visual language, and innovative approach to faience and porcelain. Lindberg’s tableware and art objects are represented in museums worldwide and are regarded among the key works of Swedish postwar design.
