Meissen, set of 4 dinner plates.
Porcelain dinner plates with softly scalloped rims, gilt edges and hand-painted decoration in pink floral motifs. A classic Meissen design from around 1900.

Origin: Germany.
Material: Porcelain.
Dimensions: D. 25 cm.
Period: Circa 1900.
Condition: Excellent condition with minor signs of wear.
Marking: Marked to the base with the Meissen crossed swords. 1st factory quality.

Meissen Porcelain Manufactory was founded in 1710 in Saxony and is the oldest porcelain manufactory in Europe. It gained early international recognition for its technical mastery and refined artistic quality. The iconic crossed swords mark, used since the 1720s, guarantees origin and quality and has made Meissen one of the most prestigious names in European porcelain history.
