Bio:
Kähler Ceramics was founded in 1839 in Næstved and developed in the late nineteenth and early twentieth century into one of Denmark’s leading ceramic workshops. Under the direction of Herman A. Kähler (1846–1917), the workshop achieved international recognition for its artistic glazes and collaborations with prominent artists. In the 1930s the factory continued its tradition of decorative horn painting and distinctive glazes, which are highly sought after by collectors today.
