Royal Copenhagen was founded in 1775 in Copenhagen under royal patronage. The factory is internationally recognised for its hand-painted porcelain and high artistic standards. Blue Flower was introduced in the eighteenth century and continued into the twentieth century, characterised by its naturalistic floral decoration and distinctive pierced rim.
