Bing & Grøndahl Blue Fluted dish with handles.

Round dish with two pierced handles in hand-painted porcelain with classic Blue Fluted underglaze decoration in cobalt blue. Model 101. First factory quality. Produced in the early 20th century.

Origin: Denmark.
Material: Porcelain.
Dimensions: H. 3 cm, D. 25 cm.
Period: Early 20th century.
Condition: Excellent condition with minor signs of wear.

Bio:
Bing & Grøndahl was founded in Copenhagen in 1853 by the sculptor Frederik Vilhelm Grøndahl (1816–1891) together with the brothers Meyer Hermann Bing (1807–1883) and Jacob Herman Bing (1804–1896). The factory became internationally known for its high-quality hand-painted porcelain, including the Blue Fluted decoration which continued the Danish porcelain tradition with exceptional craftsmanship and artistic precision.
