Bio:
Royal Copenhagen was founded in 1775 in Copenhagen under the name The Royal Porcelain Manufactory. The factory is internationally renowned for its hand-painted porcelain of the highest quality, including the Blue Fluted pattern, and has been a central figure in Danish porcelain production for more than two centuries. In the early 20th century, the manufactory embraced organic forms and decorative currents associated with Art Nouveau, resulting in refined yet functional objects such as this inkwell.
