Hand-painted porcelain decorated in the Saxon Flower pattern, model 493/1630. First factory quality.

Origin: Denmark.
Material: Porcelain.
Dimensions: D. 22 cm.
Period: 1920s.
Condition: Excellent condition with minor signs of wear.

Bio:
Royal Copenhagen was founded in 1775 in Copenhagen under the patronage of Queen Dowager Juliane Marie. The manufactory is renowned for its hand-painted porcelain and high artistic and craftsmanship standards. The Saxon Flower decoration is inspired by 18th-century European porcelain traditions and was produced throughout much of the 19th and 20th centuries, including during the 1920s.
