Georg Jensen, dinner knife Old Danish.
Dinner knife in stainless steel and sterling silver with handle in the Old Danish pattern. The knife features a long stainless steel blade and an elegant silver handle with the characteristic double reeded border that defines this classic Georg Jensen design. The blade has a small dent near the tip.

Origin: Denmark.

Material: Sterling silver and stainless steel.

Period: Produced after 1944.
Condition: Excellent condition with minor signs of wear.

Bio:
Georg Jensen (1866–1935) was a Danish silversmith and designer and one of the most influential figures in Scandinavian design. He founded the Georg Jensen silversmithy in Copenhagen in 1904. His work is recognised for its organic forms and inspiration from nature, strongly influenced by the Art Nouveau movement. The Georg Jensen workshop became internationally renowned for its silverware, and many of its classic flatware patterns, including Old Danish, remain in production today.
