Bio:
Evald Nielsen (1879–1958) was a Danish silversmith and a central figure in Danish silver design during the first half of the twentieth century. He founded his workshop in Copenhagen in 1905 and became known for elegant and functional cutlery and silver objects. His work evolved from Art Nouveau influences toward a more restrained and classical style during the interwar period, and his pieces remain highly sought after by collectors of Danish silver.
