Berndt Friberg (1899–1981) was one of Sweden’s most renowned ceramicists and worked at Gustavsberg from 1934. He is celebrated for his exceptionally precise thrown forms and refined glazes, often in subtle tonal variations. His works are highly sought after and represent a pinnacle of Scandinavian studio pottery.
