Royal Copenhagen, set of three biscuit wall plaques after Thorvaldsen.
White unglazed porcelain reliefs with classical motifs after Bertel Thorvaldsen, executed in fine biscuit with detailed figural decoration and suspension mounts on the reverse. First and third factory quality.

Origin: Denmark.
Material: Porcelain.
Dimensions: D. 14 cm.
Period: 20th century.
Condition: Excellent condition with minor signs of wear.

Bio:
Bertel Thorvaldsen (1770–1844) was one of Denmark’s most important sculptors and a leading figure of Neoclassicism. He worked primarily in Rome, producing sculptures inspired by classical antiquity. His works were widely reproduced, including porcelain interpretations by Royal Copenhagen, where his reliefs were translated into refined biscuit porcelain.
