Bio:
Tapio Wirkkala (1915–1985) was one of Finland’s most important designers and a central figure in Scandinavian modernism. He worked across glass, ceramics, metal, and graphic design and is especially known for his collaboration with Iittala. His organic design language, inspired by nature, has made his work iconic in international design history.
