Bio:
Timo Sarpaneva (1926–2006) was one of Finland’s most influential designers and a central figure in modern Scandinavian glass design. Working closely with Iittala, he created iconic series that combined technical innovation with a strong artistic vision. His work is represented in major museums worldwide and is considered an important contribution to 20th-century design history.
