Decorative ceramic vase with integrated foot and matching dish, featuring a multicoloured glaze with abstract fields in blue, red, yellow, and violet tones. A characteristic example of mid-20th century German art pottery.

Bio:
Ludwig Klopfer (1924–1977) was a German ceramic artist and designer, known for his experimental glazes and bold colour compositions. He worked for Johann Lipp in Mering, where he developed distinctive ceramic forms with a strong artistic expression. His work reflects the modernist approach to ceramics in post-war Germany and remains highly collectible today.
