Bio:
Arne Bang (1901–1983) was a Danish ceramicist and sculptor, known for his distinctive stoneware works with simple, sculptural forms. He worked primarily in the first half of the 20th century and developed a range of characteristic glazes with depth and tactility. His works are today regarded as important within Danish art deco ceramics.
