Carl-Harry Stålhane for Rörstrand, vase.

Slender organically shaped stoneware vase with a beautiful blue mottled glaze and a gently constricted neck. A characteristic example of Stålhane’s work with refined forms and nuanced glazing.

Origin: Sweden.

Condition: Excellent condition with minor signs of wear.

Bio:
Carl-Harry Stålhane (1920–1990) was one of Sweden’s most important ceramic designers and worked for Rörstrand from 1939. He became known for his elegant, minimalist forms and sophisticated glaze techniques, often in subdued earthy tones with richly textured surfaces. Stålhane played a key role in the development of modern Swedish stoneware and remains highly regarded among collectors today.
