Bio:
David Andersen (1843–1901) was a Norwegian goldsmith and founder of the David-Andersen company, established in Oslo in 1876. The firm became renowned for its high level of craftsmanship in silver and enamel, and throughout the 20th century developed into a leading figure in Norwegian design, particularly noted for its modern enamel work.
