Bio:
Henri D’Anty (1910–1998) was a French painter associated with the School of Paris. He studied at the Académie de la Grande Chaumière and the Académie Julian in Paris. His work is characterized by heavy impasto and expressive, gestural brushwork. D’Anty exhibited widely in Europe and North America, and his works are held in notable collections including the Musée du Petit Palais in Paris.
