Bio:
Viggo Loos (1895–1974) was a Swedish art historian, editor, and artist. He served for many years as cultural editor at Norrköpings Tidningar and received his PhD in art history in 1937. Alongside his work as a writer and cultural commentator, he was active as a painter and poet. His artistic work, including exhibitions at Norrköping Art Museum in 1955, often reflects an expressive and introspective approach. Loos also authored numerous art historical studies and artist biographies and played an important role in the cultural life of Norrköping during the mid-20th century.
