Marie Luplau (1848-1925), oil painting in an old silver frame.

Signed and dated 13/7-1912.

The painting depicts a mountain formation, probably from one of Luplau's many trips abroad. Luplau often painted landscapes from Southern Europe. She has, among other things, painted mountain landscapes near Lake Geneva in Switzerland and at Lake Garda in Italy.

Frame dimensions 33.0 x 27.0 cm. The work measures 26.3 x 19.8 cm.
