Bio:
Inge-Lise Koefoed (born 1939) is a Danish sculptor educated at the School of Arts and Crafts in Copenhagen from 1956 to 1960 under Olaf Stæhr-Nielsen and Gunnar Ditlevsen. She worked as a designer for Royal Copenhagen early in her career before establishing her own studio in 1965. Her work ranges from porcelain reliefs to sculptures in marble and granite, often inspired by organic forms such as fossils and insects. Her artistic practice explores themes of nature, transformation, and the continuity of life.
