Axel Salto (1889–1961) was a prominent Danish artist, ceramicist and designer, renowned for his groundbreaking work in porcelain and stoneware. His design language combined nature-inspired structures, sculptural strength and modernist elegance. Through his work for Royal Copenhagen, he became a central figure in the development of twentieth-century Danish design.
