Large sculptural “Veckla” vase in faience with an elegant folded form and hand-decorated floral ornamentation on white glaze.
Origin: Sweden.
Designer: Stig Lindberg (1916-1982).

Bio:
Stig Lindberg (1916-1982) was one of Sweden’s most influential designers and ceramic artists, renowned for his pioneering work for Gustavsberg from the 1940s onward. His output ranged from industrial design to studio ceramics and textiles, often defined by organic forms, playful decoration, and modernist sophistication. Lindberg’s works are internationally recognised today as major contributions to Scandinavian design history.
