Bio:
Ulrica Hydman-Vallien (1938–2018) was one of Sweden’s most significant glass and ceramic artists. Educated at Konstfack in Stockholm, she began working for Kosta Boda in 1972, where her vibrant and expressive decorative style featuring motifs such as flowers, snakes and faces gained international recognition. Her work remains highly iconic within Swedish studio glass.
